Buoyed by the announcements of price hike for flat products by Indian steel majors in September beginning, market players tried last week to encash a bit despite gloomy sentiments and signals from the user segments.
The Indian Long Product Price Index ILPPI continued in downward trends with 3 points last week whereas Indian Flat Products Index IFPPI has gone up by 55 points. The overall price index INDSPI inclined by 24 points.
