While the steel long product market in India remained stable last week the prices of flat products continued to weaken despite support from weakening of INR against USD reflecting inherent weakness in demand. The total loss for flat products in November has reached almost touched 2%.
The Indian Long Product Price Index ILPPI has gone up by 5 points last week whereas Indian Flat Products Index IFPPI has gone down by 63 points. The overall price index INDSPI declined by 27 points.
