It is reported that Mr Chandan Roy director operations of NTPC and director Ratnagiri Gas and Power Private Limited has been appointed chairman of RGPPL with effect from November 3rd 2009 by the Board of Directors of the company.

Mr Roy is a power engineer of repute, with a rich and varied experience of more than 38 years in the areas of Project Planning, Conceptualization, Design, Engineering and Operations & Maintenance.
