The Board of Directors of Swaraj Engines and Swaraj Automotives said that Mr Pawan Goenka has been appointed Additional Director of Swaraj Engines Limited and Additional Director and Chairman of Swaraj Automotives Limited.

He takes over from Mr Anjanikumar Choudhari who has resigned from the Board of both companies with effect from April 1st 2010.

Mr Pawan Goenka is president (Automotive & Farm Equipment Sectors) of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. He is also on the Board of several Mahindra Group companies.
