
ET reported that impressed with the vehicles on display at Auto Expo 2012, the world's largest steel maker ArcelorMittal's chairman & CEO Mr LN Mittal said he expects the automobile industry to manufacture safer, cleaner and affordable cars.
Mittal told reporters here after the expo inauguration that “I am very impressed with the show and the growth potential in the auto industries. I am going to see some of the cars which are being built for the future. What really I am expecting from this industry is to build safer, cleaner and affordable cars.”
He said that ArcelorMittal will always invest in developing a better quality steel. He told “As a steel company, ArcelorMittal is always investing in developing a better quality steel, which is lighter in weight and stronger in quality, which can reduce carbon dioxide emissions, so that we have a much more cleaner environment and manufacturers can produce cleaner cars.”
