Mr N Kothari to be next CEO of SAIL ISP

Economic Times reported that Mr N Kothari has been selected as the next CEO of Steel Authority of India Limited’s IISCO Steel Plant at Burnpur.

A 1977 batch metallurgical engineering graduate from Malviya Regional Engineering College, Jaipur (Rajasthan University), Mr Kothari began his career from SAIL's Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP).

He has worked in several key departments like the Wheel & Axle Plant, Blooming & Billet Mill, Rolling Mills and Projects he played a crucial role in DSP's modernization project.

Subsequently he served in the Bhilai Steel Plant in the Steel Melting Shop, Continuous Casting plant, Business Planning and Marketing. He has also served as general manager (vigilance) & additional chief vigilance officer at Bhilai Steel Plant where he was posted for three years.

Later he was posted as executive director (in charge) in the chairman's Secretariat, Delhi, where he looked after functions like plant co-ordination, operations monitoring, modernization and expansion and future business strategies of SAIL.
