Mr H M Nerurkar MD of TATA Steel meets Orissa chief minister Mr Naveen Patnaik at Bhubaneswar.

He discussed its proposed industrial park at Gopalpur.

On the Gopalpur project in Ganjam district, Mr Nerurkar said that TATA will be the seat anchor in the SEZ, for which the Central Government has already given clearance.

However, the environmental clearance for the project is likely to be obtained by October.

It should be noted that TATA Steel, in possession of the land for nearly 20 years, was planning to set up the industrial park at Gopalpur.
