It is Mr Santosh Kumar Mishra a senior technician of the Steel Authority of India Limited’s Rourkela Steel Plant has been selected for the prestigious Shram Vir award for the year 2006. The award carries a cash prize of INR 60,000 and a citation.

RSP sources said that Mr Mishra is the only person from the RSP to bag such an important national award. Mishra had been bestowed with several awards by the RSP like Nehru Vishista Karmachari Puraskar for 1991, the Srujani Best Suggester Award for 2001 and numerous Srujani certificates and cash awards
