Project Today reported that Mizoram Government has reportedly decided to allot five hydroelectric projects proposed to be developed in the state to North Eastern Electric Power Corporation on its continued insistence.
These projects are the 42 MW Tuivawl, 38 MW Tuinini, 815 MW Lungreng, 54 MW Tlawng and 27 MW Tut projects. That apart, the state government is likely to allot the 76 MW Mat Sekawl project to NEEPCO once the Central Water Commission is through with the re-investigations work at the project site.
