NTPC commissions 500 MW unit of Kahalgaon

National Thermal Power Corporation has announced that its 500 MW unit VII of Kahalgaon Super Thermal Power Project Stage II located in the State of Bihar has been successfully synchronized on June 28th 2009.
With the commissioning of this unit the commissioned capacity of Kahalgaon Super Thermal Power Project is 2340 MW and the total installed capacity of the Company has become 30644 MW.
