PTI reported that CPI condemned the arrest of a top anti POSCO movement leader Mr Abhaya Sahu in Odisha and demanded his immediate release.

Mr D Raja CPI National Secretary said “It is a sinister design of the government to break the anti POSCO movement and carry out their plans. We condemn this arrest. Mr Sahu should be released immediately.”

Mr Sahu, president of POSCO Pratirodh Sangram Samiti, was arrested in Jagatsinghpur district of Odisha.
