Orissa Diary reported that Anti POSCO leader cum convener of Rastriya Yuba Sangthan Mr Biswajeet Ray, who was arrested by police recently, has released on bail from Kujang sub jail on Saturday.

Meanwhile, JMFC, Kujang has granted his conditional bail on Saturday in which court has restricted him not to visit POSCO hit panchyats Dhinkia, Nuagaon and Gadkujnag panchyats.

Mr Ray who had been intensified stir against POSCO steel project in Dhinkia, Nuagaon and Gadkujang panchyat under the banner of Rastriya Yuba Sangthan and Nab Nirman Samiti was arrested by Mangalabag police on last July15th.

The activists of RYS and NNS demonstrated agitation and dharana in Dhinkia, Nuagaon and Gadkujang panchyats for protesting Posco steel project. The also locked the office of the revenue inspector, Nuagaon for protesting land acquisition process and socio economic survey in proposed POSCO site. Mr Ray also invited the leader of Narmada Bachaoo Andoloan Ms Medha Pathekar, former Loka sabha speaker Mr Rabi Ray and other national level leaders & activists to intensify stir against POSCO project.
