
POSCO war zone - Hope rekindles on president visit
PTI reported that South Korean steel giant POSCO’s much delayed INR 54,000 crore project in Orissa is set to get moving as the state is gearing up to expedite all the necessary approvals at a time when South Korean President Mr Lee Myung-Bak’s visit is scheduled f or next week.
As per report, Indian steel minister Mr Virbhadra Singh may visit the state soon to take up the matter with Orissa.
The report added that the ministry also wants a symbolic transfer of land during Mr Lee’s visit.
