Prism Cement disclosed a substantial drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2010. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 86.85% to INR 46.00 million from INR 349.70 million in the same quarter previous year.

The company’s net sales for the quarter for the quarter rose 3.31 times to INR 7,569.90 million, while total income for the quarter jumped 3.31 times to INR 7,580.30 million, when compared with the prior year period.
