Production cuts by steel mills in Russia and US have propelled India to 3rd spot globally for crude steel production,
While the Russian and US crude steel output during January to May 2009 has reduced by 31.7% YoY and 52.8% YoY, India has almost maintained production with slight slip of 0.6% YoY
