Public sector Rural Electrification Corporation said its profit after tax during April-June increased 32% at INR 877 crore, against INR 662 crore in the corresponding quarter the previous year.

The company’s total income for the first quarter also increased by 30 per cent to INR 3,093 crore against INR 2,373 crore in the similar period last year.
