BL reported that Mr PK Bishnoi CMD of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited on Monday inaugurated certain key works for the expanding the capacity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant from 3 million tonnes to 6.3 million tonnes.

The CMD launched the electrical work in converter building, erection of ducting for de dusting system and piping work in converter area of new SMS of 2.8 million tonne capacity.
