Business Line reported that Rane Engine Valve's net profit for the fourth quarter slid 62% to INR 1.75 crore, over the corresponding quarter last year. The company’s total income was nearly flat at INR 78 crore (INR 77 crore).

For the year ended March 31, 2012, total income grew 6% to INR 307 crore, while net profit grew 92% to INR 20.77 crore.
