Zee News reported that Hero Honda Motors Limited has reported a 23.70% jump in its sales at 365,734 units in June compared to sales in the same month last year.

Hero Honda Motors Limited in a statement said it sold 295,675 units in June 2008. Its cumulative sales for the Q1 of this fiscal registered a jump of 25.13% to 1,118,987 units of two wheelers from 894,244 units during the corresponding quarter of 2008-09.

Mr Anil Dua senior VP of Hero Honda Motors (Marketing and Sales) said "Our performance in the month of June, as indeed in the first quarter, is very satisfying, coming as it does on the back of a high base last year. Going forward, we will continue to stay true to our strategy and carry on setting new benchmarks."
