TVS Motor Company has reported its highest-ever monthly sales of 188,005 units in September 2010, up by 30.78% than 143,753 units sold in the corresponding month of 2009.

According to a company statement, two wheeler sales increased by 29.62% to 184,783 units from 142,553 units. Motorcycle sales rose 34.03% to 81,381 units from 60,718 units.

Domestic two wheeler sales stood at 165,418 units (132,281 units), up by 25.05%. Export of two wheelers during the month rose 88.52% to 19,365 units from 10,272 units in September 2009.

Total three wheeler sales also soared over two fold to 3,222 units last month from 1,200 units in the corresponding month of 2009.
