Steel fabrication firm Readymade Steel India is scouting for a joint venture partner to put up a manufacturing facility in the country.
Readymade in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange last week said that “The company board has already authorized the managing director, Mr Anil Agarwal to explore the possibility of identifying an appropriate joint venture partner.”
The joint venture partner will mainly provide technical support for setting up the facility in India, which will manufacture splicing system and couplers. Products from the facility could be marketed outside the country as well.
The company had earlier said it plans to set up new facilities near New Delhi and Raipur.
