BL reported that Rourkela Steel Plant has been conferred with the CII-Exim Bank Award 2011 for strong commitment towards excellence.

Company sources said today that the company was chosen for this award from among a number of reputed organizations through a stringent selection process.

The award was given on the basis of the achievements of RSP in different gamut of activities right from production, productivity, techno economics and customer satisfaction to human resource management, healthcare and corporate social responsibility.

The award was presented by the CII Institute of Quality, Bangalore at a ceremony organised at Bangalore on December 1
