Sathavahana Ispat Ltd has announced that the board of directors of the company at its meeting held on November 12th 2010 approved for taking up of integrated project for

1. Manufacture of ductile iron pipes (190000 tonnes per annum)
2. Sinter plant (298800 tonnes per annum)
3. Captive thermal power plant (15 MW)
4. Modernization of existing BF

At an estimated capital outlay of INR 350 crores at its Pig Iron making plant 'located at Haresamudram Village, Bommanahal Mandal, Anatapur District, Andhra Pradesh subject to financial tie up and all government and regulatory clearances required, if any.
