Sathavahana Ispat announced a phenomenal rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2010.

During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 2.22 times to INR 139.40 million from INR 62.73 million in the same quarter previous year.

The company’s net sales for the quarter for the quarter rose 2.85 times to INR 2,095.71 million, while total income for the quarter jumped 2.79 times to INR 2,121.96 million, when compared with the prior year period.
