Sathavahana Ispat Ltd has commenced commercial operations of expansion project at Kudithini Village in Bellary District of Karnataka of coke oven batteries for manufacture of metallurgical coke with rated capacity 150,000 tonnes per annum and accordingly the rated capacity of metallurgical coke has gone up from 300,000 to tonnes per annum to 450,000 tonnes per annum effective from December 23rd 2010.
