Saurashtra Cement reported the loss for the quarter ended December 2009 has narrowed. During the quarter, the loss of the company decreased to INR 22.64 million compared with a loss of INR 361.48 million in the same quarter last year.

Net sales for the quarter declined 23.46% to INR 1,048 million while total income for the quarter fell 23.46% to INR 1,047.76 million when compared with the prior year period.
