Saurashtra Cement swung to loss for the quarter ended June 2010. During the quarter, the company reported loss of INR 21.90 million compared with a profit of INR 174.77 million in the same quarter previous year.

The company’s net sales for the quarter declined 28.97% to INR 1,016 million, while total income for the quarter fell 28.97% to INR 1,016.49 million, when compared with the prior year period.
