Simplex Castings reported a good increase in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2010. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 28.81% to INR 36.65 million from INR 28.45 million in the same quarter last year.

The company’s net sales for the quarter declined marginally 2.20% to INR 490 million, while total income for the quarter fell marginally 1.99% to INR 496.69 million, when compared with the prior year period.
