Sunflag Iron & Steel Company disclosed a sharp drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2010. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 18.84% to INR 143.90 million from INR 177.30 million in the same quarter previous year.

The company’s net sales for the quarter for the quarter rose 27.05% to INR 3,888.70 million, while total income for the quarter rose 26.87% to INR 3,900.10 million, when compared with the prior year period.
