Suryachakra Power Corporation has announced that Suryachakra Energy (Chattisgarh) a group company has entered into Memorandum of Understanding with Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Limited on January 20th 2011 for the allocation of two coal blocks under Government dispensation scheme, wherein the coal shall be supplied by GMDCL to the power projects of SECPL for 30 years, if allotted.

Further, Suryachakra Green Power, another group Company has also signed MoU with Government of Gujarat for setting up 10 Nos., biomass power plants of 15 MW each in Gujarat.
