Swaraj Mazda reported an over two fold jump in its net profit for the quarter ended September 30th 2010 to INR 9.30 crore compared with INR 4.60 cr profit posted in the corresponding period of last fiscal. The total income during the second quarter also increased by 25.82% to INR 195.40 crore as against INR 155.30 cr in the year-ago period.

The company said that “Volume growth, better product-mix and substantial reduction in interest burden have been the key drivers for this financial performance.”
