
TATA Power, India's largest integrated private power utility's Jojobera team was recognized at the recently concluded National Convention for Quality Concepts for the efforts of its Quality Control teams.
Teams Achievers and Prerna won the Excellent Award at the Convention which was held at Hyderabad from December 9th to 11th 2011. The teams won the award for their exceptional problem solving capabilities and contribution towards quality initiatives at Jojobera Thermal Power Station.

Prominent participants at NCQC 2011 comprised of companies such as BHEL, TATA Steel, NTPC, SAIL, Durgapur Steel Plant and Exide amongst others that showcased their QC process and systems implementation undertaken by them.
Applauding the efforts of the quality teams, Mr PL Manjrekar head of Jojobera Thermal Power Station of TATA Power said that "We appreciate the efforts of our dedicated quality teams and will continue to create a nurturing environment to enable active participation of our employees for enhanced efficiency. TATA Power has received domestic as well as international recognition for its quality movement. The procedures and methodologies deployed at the Jojobera generation facility are in continuation with TATA Power's concerted efforts towards total quality assurance.
