We propose to develop a self sustainable project which includes development of road corridors and city bypass in Jamshedpur in partnership with the state government on a PPP model through an appropriate institutional framework.
Mr Paul said that the master plan had been submitted to the government and they were waiting for approval. If things fall in place the project will be completed by January 2014.
Mr Nerurkar founder of Jamsetji Nusserwanji TATA said that that “Be sure to lay wide streets planted with shady trees. Be sure that there is plenty of space for lawns and gardens. Reserve large area for football, hockey and parks.”
He maintained that their aim was to fulfill this vision. He said that TATA Steel will soon become 10 million tonne company which will result in increased road load.
