Timken India disclosed a phenomenal rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2010. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 58.62% to INR 144.50 million from INR 91.10 million in the same quarter previous year.

The company’s net sales for the quarter for the quarter jumped 61.49% to INR 1,268.20 million, while total income for the quarter jumped 60.08% to INR 1,304.00 million, when compared with the prior year period.
