Aditya Birla Group's cement arm, UltraTech Cement production of cement for the period April to August 2011 stood at 15.83 million tonnes as against 15.81 million tonnes during April to August 2010.

Dispatches stood at 15.86 million tonnes during April to August 2011 vis à vis 15.76 million tonnes in the corresponding period last year.

Cement production for the month of August 2011 grew by 2.3% at 3.02 million tonnes and dispatches at 3.06 million tonnes by 3.4% over that of August 2010.
