Usha Martin Ltd has now announced with reference to the floods in Thailand affecting operations at Usha Siam Steel Industries Public Company Ltd (Usha Siam), a subsidiary of the Company, that partial operations are expected to commence from April, 2012 followed by full operations from July / August, 2012 onwards.

Further, the insurance companies are considering Usha Siam's claims subject to normal process of claim settlement. Usha Siam is expecting to receive disbursement of 1st phase of claim by February, 2012.
