Valecha Engineering announced its entry into the power sector. Its 100% subsidiary, Valecha Infrastructure had signed a MoU with the Government of Madhya Pradesh to establish a 440 MW Thermal Power Plant in the state at the Global Investor Summit held at Khajuraho.

The investment size for the aforesaid 440 MW thermal power project will be to the tune of nearly INR 22 billion and VEL has the capacity to further increase its capacity in the future.

Valecha will look to establish the project as soon as possible and has already started to identify feasible land and other resources that are critical for the success.
