It is reported that in 2011, Tatarstan based Almetyevsk Pipe Plant a subsidiary of Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company plans to produce 187,000 tonnes of pipes while in 2012 the company will produce 273,000 tonnes of products.

In the January to August period of the current year, ATZ increased its pipe production by 10.2% compared to the same period of last year, to 124,651 tonnes. In August alone, the company produced 18,156 tonnes of pipes.

In August this year, ATZ shipped 17,996 tonnes of steel pipes. In January to August, ATZ increased its shipments of steel pipes by 4.3%YoY to 122,536 tonnes.
