Railway Gazette reported that Atlantic Track & Turnout Co has purchased the assets of Memphis based Mid South Rail.

The acquisition will augment Atlantic's specialist track work manufacturing capacity, particularly in the areas of highly engineered products such as spring frogs.

Atlantic will now sell reconditioned switches crossings and other railway equipment produced by Mid South.
