Railway Market reported that a consortium led by the company Budimex SA submitted the best offer in the tender for construction works at the main railway station in Wrocław. In the second tender, for the management and investor supervision of the project's realization, the best bidder appeared to be a consortium of Arcadis Sp zoo.

The ordering party described the offer of Budimex as valid, which means that the company fulfilled all conditions given by the investor. The value of Budimex's bid is PLN 324 million (tax included). It is more than was estimated, however the ministry of infrastructure promised to allocate additional funds for this project.

PKP SA announced also results of the tender for the management and investor supervision of the project’s realization. Among five bids, the best offer submitted consortium led by Arcadis Sp zoo.

Modernization of main railway station in Wrocław is one of the priority investments for Euro 2012 football championships. The reconstruction of the station will start in the middle of this year and finish before the European cup.
