FOCUS News Agency reported that Bulgarian gas giant Bulgargaz has no other chance but to suspend feeding to Kremikovtzi steel mill as of now.
Mr Petar Dimitrov Bulgarian minister of economy and energy stated before journalists that the energy regulatory agency has sent a letter for immediate suspension of gas feeding to Kremikovtzi.
He said that “In that sense today is an important day for Kremikovtzi. From now on Kremikovtzi will face with the due procedures that any enterprise which declare bankrupt faces with.”
However, the Confederation of Labor Podkepa said that this decision will physically destroy the steel mill. Confederation of Labor Podkepa’s management, Trade Union Metalitsi as well as Trade Union Organization with the Confederation of Labor Podkrepa in Kremikovtzi appealed to all former and present workers in the steel mill to attend the protest meeting on April 1.
