It is reported that Brazilian Companhia Siderurgica Nacional again delayed the company's new annual capacity of 600,000 tonnes of long products plant in operation.

Mr Otavio Lazcano CEO of CSN said that the plant will put into production next year, but did not disclose the reasons for postponement.

The new rebar and wire rod factory is located in the east, Rio de Janeiro City, which was originally scheduled to be completed and put into production by the end of 2008.
