CAPEX cuts - Gerdau to postpone Argentina steel mill plan

Brazilian steelmaker Gerdau announced that it will postpone a USD 524 million investment in a new steel plant in Argentina that was announced earlier this month.
Local media in Argentina reported that the decision to suspend investments in the Santa Fe expansion mill was due to the global financial crisis.
