It is reported that the transaction prices of China Steel Corporation's electric furnace Al killed finished steel wires have remained flat at TWD 25,000 to TWD 25,500 per tonne recently.

In fact, the transaction prices of CSC's EF Al killed finished steel wires have dropped to TWD 25,000 to TWD 25,500 per tonne before CSC's price announcement as the market participants forecasted that CSC would cut the October 2012 prices.

Thus, the CSC's EF Al killed finished steel wires have remained flat after CSC released to cut the October 2012 list prices of EF Al killed wire rods by TWD 1,500 per tonne.

However, the transaction volumes of EF Al killed finished steel wires did not increase due to sluggish demand.
