China Steel Corporation has announced the availability of its new product Alloy 800(H) superalloy plate after breaking through the technical bottlenecks such as vacuum melting, re melting refining and plate rolling.
Following the successful developments of titanium plates and wire rod coils in 2011, the iron nickel based superalloy plate is CSC's latest product with higher technological content.
Due to its excellent heat and corrosion resistances, and good high temperature strength, Alloy 800(H) superalloy plate is extensively used for equipment manufacturing at temperature lower than 800oC in chemical and petrochemical industries, including pipeline system, heat exchanger and chemical tank, etc.
Previously, manufacturers in Taiwan had encountered a difficult position of high price and long delivery time while importing Iron Nickel based superalloy plates for petrochemical requirement. After this new product was announced, local users will be able to acquire the equipment manufacturing key materials with reasonable price and faster delivery, not only leading to low material cost, but also shortening the manufacturing time and increasing competitiveness.
