CSC sales volumes up by 0.5pct YoY in 2011

It is reported that Taiwan's largest integrated steelmaker China Steel Corporation has just posted a TWD 240.376 billion sales volume for 2011, increasing 0.5% YoY.
However, the company's sales volume was only TWD 18.317 billion, down by 6.76% YoY, caused by the steel prices slump.
Currently, CSC has taken above 50% market portion domestically on its hot rolled steel coils, cold rolled steel coils, steel bars and steel plates.
