It is reported that Taiwan's China Steel Corporation is going to announce domestic market price for March 2012 before the coming Chinese New Year vacation.
Market participants said that CSC might keep its March prices unchanged since the Asian steel mills have all stopped cutting the prices further to gain orders and market situation is expected to stabilize in March 2012.
Driven by the stable market situation, Taiwanese re rolling mills have been receiving better order volumes currently, especially the coating steel mills. It is said that the February 2012 allocation of Taiwanese coating mills has already been fully booked.
Furthermore, some Taiwanese coating steel mills have been mulling increasing export prices for market.
