It is reported that China Steel Corporation has secured an order from Taiwan's China Shipbuilding Corporation.

According to CSBC's calculation, they will need about 200,000 tonnes shipbuilding usage steel plate this year to run for production.

If CSBC's purchased price is based on CSC's April and May shipment price, CSBC may save about TWD 200 million in their operating cost and CSC may increase their sales value by TWD 5 billion.

CSBC said that their ship booking schedule has been booked until 2012.
