Dow Jones reported that Brazilian integrated steelmaker Companhia Siderurgica Nacional has acquired a 9.4% stake in local small flat steel producer Panatlantica SA.

CSN, however, didn't reveal the value of the acquisition.

Panatlantica was created in 1952 and is located in the city of Gravatai in Rio Grande do Sul state.
