Columbia Gas to replace 24,000 feet of gas line in February

Columbia Gas plans to replace about 24,000 feet of gas main line steel pipe with plastic pipe in February 2009. The project will cost almost USD 3 million and will impact about 800 customers on 21 streets. The areas impacted are by Central, Aldringham, Monroe, Bellevue, Groveland and Drummond. The project is the second of five major projects scheduled for Toledo in 2009.

Also, Columbia Gas will move the meters of about 650 customers from indoors to outside.
